2. Our Mission
   Our mission is to provide opportunities for our diverse community through academic achievement, personal enrichment, and career and technical education.
3. Eligibility
   Classes are open to all adults (18+ yrs) and certain high school students (16-18 yrs) who meet District requirements.  Children are not permitted in any NVAE class except where they are a part of the setting and with a parent.
4. Parking
   Parking is available M-F from 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM in designated Adult Education parking lots.  Please read posted  parking signs carefully.  After 6:00 PM, parking is unrestricted except purple Adult Education Staff Only spaces.
5. Refund and Return Policy
   Refunds, minus a $10 processing fee for each refunded class or program, will be given if the refund request is made at least seven (7) days prior to the start of the class or program. Non-attendance in a program is not grounds for a refund. If a class or program is cancelled a full refund will be granted.

6. Non-Smoking Policy
   Smoking is prohibited by Federal law on all NVUSD property.

8. Sexual Harassment
   The Governing Board prohibits unlawful sexual harassment of, or by any student or by anyone.  The Board encourages and expects a student to report incidents of sexual harassment to any teacher, counselor, or administrator at the school site immediately.  Further information is available in the main office or any program office.
9. Complaints
   Uniform complaint procedures and forms are available upon request from each Adult Education teacher and/or the Adult Education office.
