Dear Students & Community,

Welcome to the 2013 winter and spring quarters. We trust your holiday season was warm, loving and somewhat restful! We are grateful to be continuing our broad range of services particularly due to the passage of Proposition 30 in November. In addition to high school diploma, ESL and career & technical education classes, please enjoy the wide array of personal improvement, enrichment and fitness classes we offer.

Because budgets are so tight, we need to spend state and federal resources closely in alignment with NVUSD goals. In next fall's catalog, you will see a reduction in Older Adults classes which will become part of our Community Interest Program - in other words, self-sustaining through fees. We know this may affect a number of students we serve. To that end, please see the Special Events page of our website for our "Sponsor A Senior" program which invites you to help a low-income senior continue in what are often life-saving classes.

We have dedicated our catalog to our district and community partners. The Napa community continues to masterfully leverage resources by working together on numerous projects and we are grateful to be part of these efforts. Again, we thank you for your continued support and look forward to many years of providing quality and affordable classes and programs.

Sincerely, Rhonda Slota, Principal NVAE
