INTRODUCTION TO THE TRADES
Working in a skilled trade will provide a sustainable, living wage and job stability. Train for a job in a high demand field. Take one or all of our basic, hands-on, short-term trade classes to learn about the experience needed to work in a skilled trade. Learn about training programs and apprenticeships in our area. Classes will include: electrical work, welding, and plumbing. After completing these courses, students will gain insight into the range of work in the trades.
In this hands-on course, participants will learn the basics of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Understand basic codes. Practice working with tools and equipment in this trade. Learn about our local electrical apprenticeship training program.
